Acoustics infused with lighting created using Mellow.
Acoustic ceiling treatments are one of the most popular applications for our super-versatile and eco-friendly Mellow material due to it being lightweight, as well as customisable in terms of both shape and colour.
For this workspace, we worked closely with office fit-out specialists Mansfield Monk to utilise this versatility and incorporate strip lighting as part of several acoustic ceiling baffle arrangements throughout various plan spaces and meeting rooms for their London-based client.
The end result is a stunning, linear design which visually compliments the exposed ceilings as well as the other colours and textures on display throughout this 28,000 sq ft workspace.
All while helping to improve acoustic comfort within the space, which is achieved thanks to the absorbent nature of the Mellow material. In addition, excess sound is trapped in the gaps between the baffles to further eliminate sound distraction.
