Wild & Wolf, Bath

ReSound acoustic panels designed to look like real timber.

Wild & Wolf is a leading design-led gift and lifestyle product creators. After recently making the move to a three floor site at Manvers Street in Bath, they appointed Interaction to create an agile workspace that would help to “inspire and facilitate their working culture”.

Bespoke joinery is featured throughout to reflect the unique Wild & Wolf brand. Agile and open plan spaces present challenges in terms of acoustics.

Thankfully, Interaction knew this would be an issue from the start and called in the experts at Creatif for a solution – which came in the form of ReSound acoustic ceiling baffles.

Being Class A sound absorbers, ReSound panels soak up 95% of sound that reaches them, making the product perfect to remedy potential acoustic pitfalls. Not to deviate from the timber- based interior design, Creatif was able to wrap the ReSound panels in a fabric printed with a timber design.

So, you might ask, why not use a standard timber slat system? Simple. Timber slats don’t even come close to achieving the same level of acoustic comfort as ReSound does because wood reflects rather than absorb soundwaves. The end result is a stunning, agile workspace with a natural feel – without noise distraction.
